bengals has finally sign him...

CINCINNATI: Is Tee Higgins on the Bengals’ trade roster? Cincinnati might still consider making a trade for the 25-year-old wide receiver, according to at least one NFL insider.

“He has requested a trade because he wants to leave. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler stated on Sportscenter, “I spoke to a few interested teams who think the Bengals are at least willing to listen.” “They’re not trading him, so that’s a little softer than they might have been a year ago. Teams will therefore attempt to coax him out. New England has been shopping high and low for receiver help; maybe they will try to trade a Day 2 pick for Higgins.”

Higgins could be traded for a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but that is unlikely to happen if the Bengals accept his offer. Higgins is valued by them, and they are willing to give him $21.8 million. This season, the star receiver is aware that he might have to play with the franchise tag.

Last month, the Bengals applied the tag to him. Before the new league season began, he asked to be traded. Cincinnati is undoubtedly playing as though Higgins will be available this year. The only notable change at wide receiver is the re-signing of Trenton Irwin.

Though history indicates they’ll keep him and force him to play on the tag unless the Bengals can get big value for Higgins, there will be trade rumors.
