Brazilian magnifico Lucas Paqueta says he is ‘sad’ and West Ham must learn their lesson after the collapse against Newcastle.

The Hammers looked extremely dangerous in attack against a patched up Newcastle side.
And it was reflected in the scoreline as West Ham strode into a 3-1 lead.
Goals from Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen put David Moyes’ side on course for a vital win in the race for a European spot.
West Ham’s unprecedented meek surrender
It was orchestrated by that man Lucas Paqueta.
First he clipped a wonderful assist over the defence for Antonio before his quick-thinking and defence-splitting pass from a free-kick put Bowen in to tee up Kudus.
What happened next was unprecedented under the manager.
West Ham meekly surrendered three goals in the last 15 minutes following Antonio’s substitution for walking disaster Kalvin Phillips.
“Sad about the result, we played a good game and let the win slip away, learn from the mistakes to continue improving!” Paqueta said on Instagram alongside a heart, praying hands and Hammers emojis.
Paqueta is right, West Ham do have to learn their lesson.
But they’ve been shipping goals all season long. In fact only the bottom three and Brentford (55) have shipped more goals than the 54 West Ham have conceded in the Premier League this season.
